CARE, FOOD SAFETY AND USE
USE
Our boards can be used for both preparing and serving. We use heat resistant epoxy resin to ensure that they can come in contact with any environment and not lose their quality finish. When chopping, turn the board over so you are chopping directly on the wood, not the resin.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS
All of our wood products need to be hand washed, and treated with edible oil when the wood begins to look dry. For more detailed care instructions, read here
FOOD SAFETY
We only advise the resin is used for incidental food contact with foodstuffs e.g nuts, biscuits etc. The resin should not be cut on directly. The resin is just for decorative purposes. The resin is Certified ASTM -D 4236 non-toxic. However, it is still a chemical product and we advise you adhere to the above safety standards

Can I get anything engraved?
Yes, most definitely. We can engrave any message, quote, picture or logo. Feel free contact us for a specialised approach.
Can i get this shipped directly to the recipient?
Yes, absolutely! Finalise the purchase by entering their postal address. You can add in a gift note in the order notes too and we will copy it onto a card for you. We will be sure not to include a receipt too
Won't the resin chip or fall off?
No, once the resin has been poured and cured, it adheres to its wood surface. As wood is a very porous medium, the resin has many thousands of anchor points and becomes a part of the fibres, ensure it won't chip or come off the surface. The resin is as strong as hard plastic and will not crack or break
Are these handmade in australia?
They are! We handcraft all of our products in Queensland, Australia. Check out our instagram to see how we make our creations
Won't the resin get damaged with use?
Resin is an incredibly strong and robust material. With frequent use it can develop very micro scratches, but these are so faint they are near impossible to see. We highly encourage that the products become a part of your everyday life!
Can i request to change the position of the engraving?
Yes, absolutely. Simply leave a comment in the order notes stating where you would like the engraving to be placed. If there is no request, we will engrave it in the corner of the board, as shown in the above images.
