      How big is the knife?
      Approximately 16 cm long. A handcrafted resin and acacia handle, paired with a polished stainless steel blade. Sized for cheese, butter, pâté, and softer spreads.
      How does the engraving work?
      Engraving is included with every knife. You type what you want at checkout, and we laser-engrave it onto the timber handle in our Sunshine Coast studio. Best for short text: a name, initials, a date. Try the engraving assistant if you want help.
      Will the resin fade or crack over time?
      No. Our resin is UV-stable and high-quality, designed to keep its colour and finish for years. Keep the knife out of constant direct sunlight, and avoid the dishwasher. Hand wash with warm soapy water and air dry.
      How long does shipping take?
      Engraved knives ship within 1 to 2 business days from our studio. Standard delivery across Australia is 3 to 4 business days. Express is 1 to 2 business days. Free shipping on orders over $149. Priority dispatch (same-day) available at checkout for an extra $10.
      Can I order a custom engraving or larger quantity?
      Yes, for corporate gifting, wedding party gifts, or larger custom quantities. Email hello@thefifthdesign.com.au with the details.
      What if it doesn't land?
      We accept returns within 30 days, even on engraved pieces. Gifts are personal. If it doesn't land, email hello@thefifthdesign.com.au and we'll sort it.
