This delicacy is a popular Filipino dessert with a distinct taste and texture. It is made by combining sweetened coconut milk, cornstarch, and sugar to create a fluffy mixture that tastes both creamy and rich 🤍
INGREDIENTS
4 cups coconut milk
1 cup cornstarch
1/2 cup coconut condensed milk
3/4 cup milk (your choice of milk)
3/4 cup granulated sugar
1 can creamed corn
1/2 cup toasted grated coconut
1 cup mashed pumpkin
1/4 cup melted butter
METHOD
1. Boil the peeled and chopped pumpkin and set aside to cool down
2. Pour the coconut milk in a pot and bring to boil
3. Add the sugar, condensed milk, and cream corn then stir until all ingredients are evenly distributed
4. Simmer for 8 minutes
5. Combine the milk and cornstarch then whisk until cornstarch is diluted
6. Pour the milk and cornstarch mixture in the pot
7. Pour the mashed pumpkin in the pot and stir thoroughly
8. Allow to cook while stirring and the mixture reaches to desire thickness
9. Pour the mixture in a serving tray then flatten the top by using spatula
10. Allow to cool down then refrigirate for at least 1 hour
11. Smashed the toasted grated coconut then garnish on top
12. Then serve on your favourite Resin Art Board cold to enjoy!
